Høyland Church
, the ceremonies start at Høyland Kirke. Be there when Markus will be completely overwhelmed by Martine's beauty in front of many people!
The church service will be open for the public.
Kronen Gaard
Later in the Day, we'll meet at Kronen Gaard Hotell. We'll celebrate in the beautiful green house called Orangeriet.
This party is only for invited guests.
Accomodation
Kronen Gaard does not reserve hotel rooms for us automatically, their booking goes "First come, first serve". If you consider to book directly at Kronen Gaard, you'd like to do that soon.
Otherwise, the church and hotel are close to Sandnes, and you can reach both by public transport. If you prefer a cheaper stay over a short distance to your accomodation, then you might look for some places there.
How the time tables
We are still very early in the planning phase, but so far we're thinking of this schedule:
- 13:45
- Wedding at Høyland Kirke (arrive a few minutes early, unless you'd like to enter with the Bride)
- 14:30
- Church service complete (free time for you)
- 16~17
- Party starts at Kronen Gaard
- 17/18
- Dinner at Kronen Gaard
- Late Night
- Dancefloor opens, bring your dancing shoes!
- 01:30
- Bar closes for those that are still awake by then
- 02:00
- Party ends

Coming from abroad?
We very much appreciate your effort, and more than happy to welcome you in Stavanger.
We're not aware of Travel Visa requirements, but suggest you to have another look.
Public Transport from Stavanger Airport
There's a Bus shuttle service to Stavanger and cheaper, regular Bus service to Sandnes.
Besides that, public transport service will get worse by 2026, we don't know yet how bad it'll be.
New to Stavanger?
In August/September, there's around 15-22°C average day temperature. Expect mild coastal climate with wind and sudden rain showers.
